Menorcan beaches
One of the peculiarities of Menorca is its distribution of the beaches and coves in two main areas.
On one side is the North zone, with rugged reliefs and a rather dark rock.
The southern zone, on the other hand, has a more regular landscape, with more vegetation and lighter rocks and sand.

white cove:
Cala Blanca is a small cove very close to Ciudadela. It is located in the southwest of the island, in the urbanization with the same name. Ideal to enjoy with the family due to the good access to the beach. Its location to the west makes it a perfect beach to enjoy the sunset.

Cala Galdana:
This is the beach that families like the most on the south coast.

Cove in Turqueta:
Turqueta is a natural pool with two fine white sand beaches separated from each other by a small rocky ledge.

Cala Macarella and Macarelleta:
Macarella and Macarelleta are the icon of the southern beaches and continue to be a true paradise, although for this reason they are the most crowded during the month of August. Macarella is the only virgin cove with a restaurant on the beach.
Macarella is considered the best beach in Europe. This is indicated by the travel magazine Condé Nast Traveler, news that was released during the year 2015. Macarella is known worldwide for its crystalline waters and for the famous photos in which the boats appear 'floating' in the air thanks to the optical effect due to the transparency of the water.

Cala en Brut is characterized by having a V shape (narrow and elongated). Its turquoise is so transparent that the secrets of its seabed can be guessed.

Northern beaches that you cannot miss:
Pilar Cove:
It is the virgin beach of red sand and the contrasts of colors. One of the most special and valued beaches on the island.

Pregonda cove:
To get to Pregonda you have to walk a little, but you cannot miss it because it is one of the most impressive on the island with its red sand and its islets.
